CAPE WELIGAMA -RESPLENDENT CEYLON WELIGAMA

Cape Weligama is a beach front resort with a spectacular view. Ayointerior was tasked with creating a separate space for a Spa, as the property originally did not have an allocated space, even though spa services were offered as part of the villa service. As the space was not originally designed for a spa, the acoustics in the treatment rooms were not conducive for a spa environment, while also lacking privacy for some of the treatment rooms.

As part of the refurbishment project Ayointerior redesigned the Spa with better acoustics for the entire location. New washrooms were introduced to a few of the treatment rooms which added an element of functional value to the design. Calming neutral tones and textures, comfortable bespoke furniture pieces, large rugs are some of the design features that were included in the new Spa interior.
