FAB DUPLICATION ROAD

Top patisserie FAB, a household name in Sri Lanka, wanted to elevate their brand through a new design that would transform the 40 year old brand to something with a more youthful look and feel. This was a pilot project to the upcoming flagship restaurant project.

To achieve this transformation, we worked closely with the client to establish the colour scheme, materials, graphics and branding. We used pastel tones of pink, blue and yellow throughout the interior. Wall murals were designed especially for this space and then transformed to a wallpaper that depicts the baking story of Fab. A marble counter is the highlight of the entire patisserie and adds definite sophistication and glamour to the space. Mosaic tiles for the back wall, teak flooring laid in a herringbone pattern and stained pine wood as a wall panelling to give the outlet depth and character.

This outlet is strategically placed right opposite AOD, a leading design school in Colombo, a place which is frequented by teens and young adults. For these students, this will be the perfect spot to grab a snack and have a coffee in between classes.
